Objectives:
By the end of lesson,
1) pupils will be able to identify 5 facial
parts.(face,eyes, nose, mouth, ears)
2) pupils will be able to orally list 5 facial parts.
3) pupils will be able to demonstrate 5 facial parts.
Aims:
1) To enable the students to
practice vocabulary through pictures.
2)
To enable
the students to practice listening through song.
Warm Up:
Teacher ask students:
How do we eat?
How do we smell?
How do we hear?
Vocabulary Teaching:
Teacher shows a face model
named “Simon” and tells the names of his facial parts while showing his facial
parts. Students repeat each facial part 3-4 times.
Activity1(art-craft)
Teacher gives students a mask
template and elastic. And the teacher asks students to cut along the lines and
make two holes at both sides. Also
teacher asks them to cut out eyes and color it. Finally teacher helps students
to tie elastic band and students tie the
mask around their heads.
Activity2(game)
Game 1
a) What is missing?
Teacher wants students to cover their eyes,
and while their eyes are covered, teacher hides a part from Simon's face. Then
teacher wants them to open their eyes and asks them what is missing.
Game 2
b)Simon Says
Teacher holds the face model and tells the
class that “Put your finger on your nose!”
and students put their
fingers on their nose.
Activity 3 (Song)
First
the teacher sings the song and students listen. After teacher sing the song,
the class sing it together.
(One Little Finger)
Contingency
Teacher puts students in
groups of 2 and tells them facial parts
one by one and asks them to show parts in their partner's face.
