Teaching the sounds (2 minutes)

Activity 1.Distinguishing sounds -Same or different- (5 minutes):
Teacher tells two words each time and asks students to catch if it is same or different. Teacher uses various words which even don’t have a meaning.

Activity 2.Identifying sounds (7 minutes):
Teacher writes sounds on to the board and draws a hand next to one of the sounds, then wants students to show that sound when he says that sounds. Teacher changes the sounds and practice again. Teacher also wants students to produce the sound after him by pointing. After a plenty of exercise teacher wants class to shut their eyes off and listen carefully and point and say the sounds.

Activity 3. Testing the teacher (6)
Teacher chooses a volunteer and explains that “we will play same or different game and you will be the teacher and I will be a student” then wants students to say two sounds and teacher says same-different, after that whole class say same-different with teacher. A few students can perform in this activity.

Contingency Plan. Multiple-choice sounds

Teacher gives a worksheet which contains multiple choice questions. Teacher says the word in each question and students try to identify the sounds and circle the correct word.
