Vocabulary Teaching

The teacher teaches the jobs one by one by making the students repeat the jobs after him/her. The teacher goes over the jobs again to make sure that the students learn the jobs.

Vocabulary Activity

Teacher sticks the pictures of the fruits on the wall. S/he says that ‘’ Where is the doctor?’’ and expects them to find and run to the doctor. If the students do not understand the activity, the teacher herself goes to doctor to show them what to do when the teacher says ‘’Run to the doctor!’’ This is done for all of the jobs.

Activity 1

In this stage, the teacher distributes some job pictures which are folded and in a box which means it is a surprise for the students to pick any job because they cannot see which job they will pick. After the students have their job pictures, the teacher gives instruction to make them make their crowns by saying ‘’Color your job, cut it, and stick it to the colorful strip.

Activity 2

In this stage, the teacher play a song about the jobs that S/he has taught. While singing the song, the teacher uses his/her body movement to make the children act like that job.

Closure

Teacher makes a revision of the topic by repeating the fruits to end the lesson.
