Warm Up (3”)
Teacher stars with questions about last week:
Do you remember the colors?
PRE-STAGE
Vocabulary
Teaching (5”)
-Teacher shows the pictures of target words that
mentioned in the story. Teacher repeats each word a few times with the
students.
Vocabulary
Check Activity (5”)
First, teacher gives an instruction about how to match
the pictures with their names. Then teacher distributes the worksheets.
Art-craft (7”)
-First the teacher shows to the students how to color,
cut and stick the pieces of paper he/she distributes. Then teacher distributes
the worksheets.
15 students color the peacock and 15 students color
the crow. They cut them and make a puppet by sticking them on a wooden stick.
WHILE-STAGE
Purpose
(While Activity)
The teacher distributes the worksheets to the students
and tells them to circle the peacock's colors when they hear.
First Telling
(5")
The teacher tells the story and the students listen to
the story while performing the while activity.
Purpose Check
Students check their answers with the teacher.
Second
Telling (15")
The teacher invites the students to the stage. 15
students dramatize the peacock and 15 students dramatize the crow with their
puppets while repeating the story. Then they change their puppets with each
other and dramatize the story again.
POST-STAGE
Activity 1
(5”)
The teacher distributes worksheets to the students
that have questions about the story. Students answer the questions then they
check their answers with the teacher.
Activity 2
(5”)
The teacher asks questions about the students by using
the target structure themselves one by one.

Teacher
sticks the pictures of the vocabulary items with one missing word. Then the
teacher asks to the students which picture is missing. They repeat this a few
times.
